Job Description
Production Supervisor in a chemical company is responsible for managing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field, at least 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role, strong leadership and management skills, knowledge of safety regulations and manufacturing best practices, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Production Supervisor must also possess technical expertise in manufacturing processes and equipment, as well as problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues in the production process.
Qualifications
- Responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently
- Manage a team of operators and technicians, assigning tasks and monitoring performance
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments, such as R&D and engineering, to optimize the manufacturing process
Job Requirements
